Privacy notice for schoolopex.com
This notice covers this website and the SchoolOpEx waitlist. SchoolOpEx is not open yet. When it opens, the app will have its own full privacy policy, published here before anyone signs up.
Who we are
SchoolOpEx is made by B7 Collective LLC, a small company in Maryland, United States. Write to us any time at [email protected].
What the waitlist keeps
When you join the waitlist, we keep:
- your email address;
- what you are running (for example, a homeschool co-op);
- whether you might want to be a founding school, if you tick that box;
- that you signed up on schoolopex.com.
We do not ask for your name, and we never ask for a child’s information. The waitlist is for adults, so please do not enter a child’s email address. If we learn a child has joined, we delete the entry.
Why we keep it
To tell you when SchoolOpEx opens, and to share real progress before then. Your answers help us understand who is waiting, so we build the right things first. We never sell or rent your information, never share it for advertising, and there are no ads.
Who handles it for us
- MailerLite (MailerLite, Inc.) keeps the waitlist and sends our emails. As the record that you asked to join, it keeps when and from which internet address you signed up. It also records which links you click in our emails; it offers no setting to turn that off, and we never use it to profile anyone. MailerLite stores data in the European Union and may also process it elsewhere.
- Cloudflare runs this website. Like any web host, it handles your internet address to deliver pages and to block attacks. When you join, your browser sends your answers straight to MailerLite; nothing is stored on the website.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and runs no advertising trackers. The one outside script is Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. Fonts are served from this site.
Your choices
- Leave the list: every email has a link to unsubscribe in one click.
- See, correct or delete what we keep: write to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days, and a deletion is done in that time too.
- Signed up by someone else? If you get our email and did not join, use the unsubscribe link or write to us, and we will remove you.
How long we keep it
While you are on the list. When you unsubscribe, you stop getting our emails at once. If you ask us to delete your information, we remove it from the list within 30 days.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, we will update it here with a new effective date. If a change affects how we use your information, we will tell people on the list by email first.
