The SchoolOpEx Advantage
What changes when your school runs on SchoolOpEx.
Less copying in the office, a price you can plan around, records you control and families who know what matters. Four advantages, each set beside the way school software usually works, with a working example you can try.
IYour time back
Enter it once. It is right everywhere.
Every fact is entered once, by the person who knows it, and every part of SchoolOpEx reuses it. The office stops being the place where information gets copied.
The usual way
- The same family details typed into the student system, the payment app, the forms and a spreadsheet
- The office reconciles who paid, who signed and who is absent by hand
- Work lost when a page times out
- Everyone notified about everything
With SchoolOpEx
- One record for each family, used by admissions, tuition, attendance and report cards
- Forms land in the record; attendance reaches the office the moment it is saved
- Drafts save on their own and survive a dropped connection
- Each person hears only about their own classes, families and role

What fills itself in, and what you still decide.
SchoolOpEx does the copying, counting and reminding. The decisions that matter stay with a person.
- TeachersA teacher fills in the week’s lesson plans.Homework becomes assignments, and Friday’s summary for families is drafted from the plans. The teacher adds a highlight or a photo and taps Send.
- TeachersTeachers grade through the term.Report cards fill in from the gradebook, with weights and attendance.Teachers add comments, and each card is approved before families see it.
- The officeAttendance opens with everyone marked present.Families of a child absent with no reason hear within the hour, and the office sees which classes are still open.Staff decide who to follow up with.
- The officeA bill comes due.Reminders go out before and after the due date, and stop when it is paid or autopay is on.You set the schedule and can pause it for any family.
- The officeA family fills in a form.Answers land in the family’s record, with no retyping.Changes to an existing family wait for the office to approve.
- The officeA seat opens in a full class. The next family on the waitlist is offered it, with a time limit.Or you approve each offer yourself; it is a school setting.
- Co-opsFamilies pick volunteer jobs.Hours add up on their own, and reminders go out before each job.The coordinator can correct any hours.
- HomeschoolA parent taps “We did school today.”Each child’s learning days count up, and subjects covered fill in.Records stay yours to review and download.
Planned for launch in summer 2027. Weekly summaries and report cards never go to families until a person sends or approves them.

- A cut taken from the tuition families pay
With SchoolOpEx

IIIRecords you control
Your records stay yours, and stay private.
A school trusts its software with children’s records. SchoolOpEx is built so each school decides who sees what, and can leave with everything.
The usual way

- A fee or a long wait to leave
- Family contact details shared in a directory by default
- Children’s data used to improve the product, or sold
With SchoolOpEx
- Download everything at any time, free, in open formats
- No exit fee, and 90 days after you cancel to download everything
- Each family chooses what other families see, and the default is nothing
- Children’s records never sold, profiled, used for ads or used to train AI

In short.
Everything your school runs on, in one app, with every feature in your plan and your records always yours.
Questions
What makes SchoolOpEx different from other school management software?
Every feature is in every plan, priced by the number of enrolled students, and features added later join your plan instead of becoming add-ons. Facts are entered once and reused everywhere, families pay the school directly with no markup, and the school can download all of its records at any time.
Does SchoolOpEx charge for add-ons or extra modules?
No. Every plan includes every feature. The one optional extra is more room for photos and files, at $5 a month for each 50 GB, and it is never added unless you choose it.
Will our price go up after we join?
Any price change comes with the reason and at least 60 days’ notice. Meanwhile your loyalty discount grows 2.5% each year you stay, up to about 10% from your fifth year.
Can we get all of our data out if we leave?
Yes. You can download everything at any time, free, in open formats, with no exit fee.
Who is SchoolOpEx for?
Private and charter schools, microschools, learning centers, homeschool co-ops and homeschool families, with words and parts that fit each kind. Published plans go up to 300 students; larger schools, public schools and districts write to us for a price.
Do families need to download an app?
No. SchoolOpEx runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, families can add it to their home screen, and they get in with a code sent to their email.
